If you are unfamiliar with the types of yachts, please note that apart from the classic sailing yacht, there are also motor yachts ( fully powered by engine ) and motor sailers, which are larger traditional type classic sailing
yachts with larger engine to allow for faster speeds.
The most economical type of yacht is the classic sailing
yacht, which can be as small as one cabins for a couple and as large as 6 cabins. You can sail these your self if you have the appropriate qualifications or hire a professional skipper to do the sailing for you. There are fully
crewed sailing yachts available also, with cook and or crew member, for those of you that like all the thrills of sailing without doing al the work !
Motor sailers are always fully crewed and offer guests luxury and the old world charm.
The cabins are larger than the classic sailing yachts, with en-suite bathrooms usually and all the comforts of home.
Meals are usually provided on board by the experienced cook and you will be pampered by the professional service.
Motor Yachts, are on the higher end of the price range although there are some specisl priced yachts
available as well. These yachts are chartered by those who that want speed and luxury combined with extra special service and superior quality.
